Please note that if you have a medical condition, such as a perforated eardrum, or if you are using any ointments, it is not recommended to use the wax guard.

Direction For Use

First, remove the old filter with a side.

Second, rotate the removal stick.

Third, you will be able to see the old filter.

Fourth, insert the new filter using the B side.

Our Wax Guard is specifically designed for Phonak Cerustop hearing aids. It is compatible with receiver-in-canal and custom hearing aids that use the Cerustop or WaxTrap systems. Please note that this is the new WaxTrap2 system, and it is fully interchangeable with the older WaxTrap filters. The removal stick is now threaded, making removal easier. To remove the old wax guard, simply insert the threaded end into the opening of the guard, twist, and pull out. To insert the new filter, flip the tool and insert the new wax guard.
