Instructions for Dome Replacement:
- Removal of the Old Dome: Start by firmly pulling off the used dome from the receiver. It may take some effort, but don’t worry; it should come off. Dispose of the old dome responsibly.
- Fitting the New Dome: Take the new dome and carefully push it onto the ribbed end of the receiver until it is snugly in place.
- Securing the Dome: Ensure that the dome is correctly attached by gently lifting the lower section. This will allow you to check that the collar fully covers the ribbed end of the receiver, confirming a secure fit.
Important Note: It’s crucial to remember that ear domes have a limited lifespan. For optimal performance, you should replace your hearing aid domes every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if they start to feel stiff or brittle. Over time, silicone materials may not seal the auditory canal tightly, which leads to diminished sound amplification.
Compatibility: Our hearing aid domes are compatible with the ReSound LiNX2, LiNX3D, LiNX Quattro, and ENYA behind-the-ear models (including both receiver-in-canal (RIC) and open fit tubing for BTE).
